Key Account Manager Retail Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager Retail Specialist to join our team at Michael Page International Italia S.r.l. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new opportunities and developing exceptional relationships with our retail/digital partners in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail/digital partners to drive business growth and profitability.
- Act as a beauty and commercial expert, implementing plans from vision to execution and utilizing strong selling and negotiation skills to win in the channel.
- Oversee sales and manage relationships with retail/digital partners to build profitable sales growth, working across multiple categories.
- Work closely with supply chain and create operational practices to maximize efficiency and cost control.
- Manage all aspects of developing the retail partnership business.
- Negotiate listings, additional distribution/space for Company products and its categories as appropriate.
- Negotiate cost price changes with the customer as appropriate.
- Work closely with Marketing and the retailer to manage a Trade Investment plan to drive sales while maximizing profitability.
- Review Company Reports to build an understanding of customer objectives and direction.
- Plan, develop, agree, and implement an annual Business Plan with the specified customer, activating contingency plans when necessary.
- 5-7 years of FMCG experience in retail/digital and at Account manager level gained preferably in a branded beauty business.
- Solid experience in working with beauty retailers.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Communicates effectively and delivers impactful presentations.
- Shows a strong sense of individual accountability and able to work with autonomy.
- Is a change champion and pioneers new ideas and approaches.
- Committed to deliver results and goes after the stretch target.
- Has a flexible approach and adapts to challenges and changing priorities as needed.
- Makes fast decisions balancing intuition and facts.
