Job Summary

Alaska USA is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Services Representative II or Senior to join our team. As a key member of our branch staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences through a consultative, empathetic, and personalized service approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively engage with existing and prospective members to create a positive member experience that is consistent with the values and culture of Alaska USA.
  • Ensure all members receive prompt, professional, helpful, and courteous service during each interaction.
  • Deepen member relationships through expert knowledge of credit union products and services and the execution of member engagement strategies.
  • Use a consultative approach and resources such as the Member Vision Plan to develop solutions that will educate and improve member's financial well-being.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of all transactions and member service requests as outlined in the employee performance standards.
  • Efficiently onboard members in the system and complete outbound call programs and set appointments to meet member needs, as assigned.
  • Process consumer loan applications and loan closings according to credit union policies, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Support the Member Service Center with incoming calls as scheduled, monitor activities and remain flexible to changes.
  • Build meaningful relationships by participating in branch promotions and community events, as assigned.
  • Work effectively in a team environment across all organizational levels.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Passion for helping people and the drive to build relationships that assist members meet financial goals
  • Good communication and human relation skills
  • Ability to effectively ask open-ended questions, problem solve and provide solutions
  • Develop strong working relationships with coworkers and business line partners through collaboration
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Compensation

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided below.

  • Financial Services Representative I (Category 15): $26.59 hourly
  • Financial Services Representative II (Category 14): $29.12 hourly
  • Senior Financial Services Representative (Category 13): $31.88 hourly
