About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at The Hoxton in Florence. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the running of the different sections and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of chefs to deliver high-quality dishes and exceptional service.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with our Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
