About the Role

This position reports to the Application Sales Manager and is part of the Sales organization in the MOTION DRIVES Division at ABB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and adapt ABB's products to meet customer requirements, preparing relevant documentation and serving as a key technical resource for the assigned area.
  • Develop and implement solutions, product packages, and software applications with the team.
  • Understand customer needs and effectively communicate the ability of ABB's solutions to address those needs.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of ABB's solutions.
  • Support in preparing sales proposals and negotiating contracts to secure new businesses.
  • Collaborate with the Center of Excellence (CoE) of products for analyzing technical issues or participating in internal initiatives for the development of new products.
Requirements
  • Immersed in Industrial Automation, Industrial Drives Hardware, and Mechatronic concepts.
  • Experience in commissioning automation plants and industrial machinery, supporting customers on-site.
  • Enhanced knowledge of CoDeSys and/or C programming language.
  • Passionate about Customer Satisfaction and Sales Processes.
  • Degree or Technical Diploma in Automation or Electromechanical field.
  • Proficient in English and Italian.
