Role Overview

We are seeking a Contract and Procurement Consultant to join our team in Italy. This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to meet quality standards.

The successful candidate will manage international projects, overseeing contract management activities and ensuring timely project delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing contractual support and advice during weekly change triage meetings.
  • Preparing change order contract documents and submitting them for processing.
  • Tracking execution of change orders and informing the project team.
  • Managing the close-out of provisional change orders with the project team.
  • Collaborating with the project team to manage and track claims.
  • Advising on and drafting formal notices.
  • Tracking contractual milestones and ensuring contracts are updated in alignment with the project schedule.
  • Informing the project team of executed contracts and notifying them of any specific requirements.
  • Ensuring correct use of Contract Management tools and forms.
  • Providing support during project handover and execution of the Taking Over Certificate (TOC).
  • Managing the overall Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and notifying the project team of contract extensions and procurement activities.
  • Contractually managing the final account and contract close-out of all project awards.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Around 4-6 years of experience in Procurement, Project Management, Supply Chain, Contract Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
  • Previous experience in providing sourcing, procurement, and contracts management support to large-scale construction programs and projects.
  • An MSc Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
  • Any experience supporting Global Clients on International projects is a plus.
  • Direct experience in data center construction is a plus.
  • Knowledge of international construction industry standards and practices.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible individual with the ability to take on new projects and challenges regularly.
  • The ability to maintain productivity during remote-work/work-from-home scenarios.
