Alstom is a leading company in the mobility sector, committed to creating a sustainable future for transportation. We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Quality Technician to join our team at our Savigliano site in Italy.

The successful candidate will be part of our Industrial Quality team and will report to the Project Industrial Quality Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing tests on car bodyshell components and bogies using advanced techniques such as UT Phased Array TFM, MT, VT, and PT.
  • Supporting and coaching Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technicians to increase their capability.
  • Collaborating with special process and industrialization department experts to define the right methodology checks versus technical applications.
  • Working with Level 3 experts to optimize control techniques and define formalized NDT procedures.
  • Analyzing statistical data to support Industrial Quality control and problem-solving methodology.
  • Ensuring a ZERO DEFECT PROGRAM by analyzing root causes of welding defects.
  • Managing NDT patent expirations for the ND technician team in conjunction with third-party assessors.
  • Planning and managing workstation audits, ensuring follow-up and relevant action plans.

Key performance measurements include:

  • Serial quality control and spot control in compliance with scheduled plans.
  • Welding defect reduction trend within the quarterly period and in line with targets.
  • 100% qualification maintenance on the ND population.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Qualification extension on Railways maintenance (ANSFISA guidelines) on all ND methodology.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Proficiency in Excel VBA and Macro.
