About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated post-doc researcher to join our team at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genoa, Italy. The successful candidate will be part of our Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research line, focusing on robotics control, perception, and planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development in robotics control, perception, and planning, with a focus on industrial automation.
  • Collaborate with a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team of engineers and researchers.
  • Develop and implement modern robotics control, perception, and planning techniques for industrial applications.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new robotics systems and algorithms.
Requirements
  • PhD and Master's degree in robotics engineering, computer science, control engineering, computer engineering, or related fields.
  • Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with colleagues.
  • Creative, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Proficient in English language (written and oral).
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Experience in control or motion planning of robots.
  • Experience with computer vision and depth sensors.
  • Experience in working with industrial robots or PLC systems.
  • Experience in industrial automation software.
