About the Role

Aveva is a global leader in industrial software, and we're seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our industrial software portfolio to senior levels within our clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell enterprise-wide contracts for the Aveva Industrial software portfolio to the most senior levels within our clients and prospects.
  • Plan and organize all related sales activities starting from prospecting through to closing business in line with the Framework of ONE Aveva.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and order targets supporting the sub-regional business.
  • Generate sales and perform software presentations to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Prepare, maintain, and execute comprehensive Account Plans on top accounts, which outlines your strategic and tactical approaches for achieving your targets.
  • Work with line manager to define, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure the data quality in Salesforce is well maintained and opportunities, and all other client base records are up to date as well as accurate forecast.
  • Assist customers with their enquiries, orders details and chasing pending payments.
  • Travel regularly to promote Aveva products and services.
Requirements
  • 8+ years experience in a sales, (key) account management, with direct selling enterprise software solutions serving industries.
  • Experience in structuring and executing demand generation on your account territory, including cold calling and generating new leads.
  • Experience in having business-oriented conversations from end user to senior decision makers within our target customer base and aligning their business problems with our technology solutions.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills to help identify market trends and opportunities and driving business in your territory.
  • Understanding of sales qualification methodology (MEDDPICC) and building out territory/account plans.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in Italian and English is required.
