Project Control Manager

At KT - Kinetics Technology, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Control Manager to lead our project control team and coordinate overall project control activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and collaborating on the project execution plan, monitoring its application, and creating and maintaining project control procedures and guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and collaborate on the project execution plan with the project director/manager and key personnel.
• Monitor the project execution plan application and ensure it reaches the proposed target.
• Create and maintain project control procedures, guidelines, and standards with the cooperation of project control engineers.
• Coordinate the finalization and implementation of the project WBS, involving project director/project manager and key personnel.
• Be proficient and autonomous in the use and coordination of company tools, such as Primavera P6 and SAP.
• Support the preparation of the hand-over package and coordinate the hand-over meeting with project key personnel and commercial division.
• Prepare and properly fill the project control checklist for distribution to project team members.
• Coordinate the preparation of top-down schedules and project schedules at different levels of detail, involving project key personnel.
• Lead and organize project planning and progress workshops according to company procedures.
• Represent the company, client, and internal stakeholders as the single point of reference for project control activities.
• Ensure routine control activities to achieve completion time as per baseline, anticipating adverse trends and suggesting remedial actions.
• Ensure overall project control among operational centers involved in project control activities.
• Perform cost control of the project to ensure profitability, as per the original budget.
• Conduct original budget preparation by coordinating project control resources and facilitating necessary inputs receipt from commercial department.
• Periodically conduct quantities variation assessment/analysis to re-evaluate time and cost forecast.
• Lead project control setup activities, negotiating with client/stakeholders methodologies and formats to be used.
• Assist and support project manager/director's decision with necessary information/trends.
• Timely raise alert when project control indicators show remarkable trends.
• Evaluate scope changes, design modifications, and contract variance in terms of time and cost, supporting contract manager in preparing change orders towards the client.
