About the RoleWe're seeking a driven and adaptable Strategic Business Development Lead to join our team and help us build and execute strategies that will drive our success.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy, problem-solving skills, and adaptability. You'll be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and they are satisfied with our services
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to drive revenue growth
- Communication: Conduct a high volume of calls and meetings each week to engage with clients and drive business outcomes (30-50 per week)
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively
- Autonomous Execution: Develop and implement strategies independently to meet and exceed sales targets
- Collaboration: Work closely with the support, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and achieve company goals
- Feedback Loop: Gather and relay customer feedback to the product team to help inform product development and improvements
We're looking for a candidate with:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years experience in account management, sales, or a related role
- Goal-oriented with a track record of exceeding targets
- Familiarity with CRM software and willingness to build processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- High degree of adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
