This position reports to the Global Product Manager Director at ABB, a leading global technology company. As a Pricing Manager EU/AMA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profit and market share in the ELIP EUC and ROW region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop pricing strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize profit and market share.
- Establish a robust pricing infrastructure and policies to deliver measurable results.
- Develop and implement a sustainable process to gather market pricing data on offerings from ABB and competitors.
- Develop effective and efficient standards and special pricing strategies in line with the region division strategy, value, competition, and cost/profit.
- Establish pricing guidelines and ensure their application/adherence within the relevant organization.
- Develop and analyze the pricing structure and conditions to calculate profit reserves.
- Propose strategic and operational pricing corrections as appropriate, for approval by the regional division Sales/Portfolio/Product Manager/financial controller.
- Create, implement, and maintain information on regional pricing to ensure proper internal transfer pricing across local business units and regions.
- Develop pricing concepts to establish and manage region, LSO and channel and/or cross-divisional pricings, such as in-frame agreements and key accounts/industrial segment requirements, to ensure consistency.
- Develop pricing tools and processes to support professional pricing at all management levels.
- Highly skilled in portfolio management, business strategy, and market intelligence.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role.
- Enhanced knowledge of pricing excellence and regulation and legal compliance.
- Degree in Business Administration or Management Engineer.
- Proficient in English and Italian.
