Position Overview
We're seeking a skilled engineer to join our team of electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for our data center infrastructure. We take our customer requirements for uptime seriously and maintain our facilities to a very high standard to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers.
Duties
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, building monitoring, and control.
- Use the Building Management System (BMS) and conduct regular on-site checks.
- Manage suppliers and services, and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Daily monitor maintenance service providers and ensure cleanliness standards.
- Implement improvement plans and small projects.
Requirements
- Technical education (advanced technician or engineer level) in one of the following areas: Electricity (generators, UPS, low voltage distribution), climate, and cooling.
- Knowledge of fire protection and physical security (access control, video, and intrusion detection systems) or central building management systems is advantageous.
- Experience in operating data centers or similar environments.
- Versatile technical knowledge, especially in the areas of operation, maintenance, and inspection of critical systems.
- English and Italian – The minimum level required is B1.
