About the RoleThe Night Assistant Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. As the point of contact for our guests and staff, this individual must possess excellent communication skills, a hands-on approach, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Front Desk during the overnight shift, ensuring seamless communication with day shift staff and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Complete daily reports for all Front of House departments and conduct a thorough night audit to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Resolve customer complaints and handle guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Review late arrivals, early departures, and special requests to plan for the next day's activities and ensure proper handling of guest needs.
- Assure that all financial and credit procedures are followed, including reviewing paid-outs, rebates, and petty cash disbursements.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, using guest names whenever possible, and adhere to Four Seasons standards.
- Utilize various computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and review room allocations.
- Coordinate with front of house departments during night briefings and take action to ensure the safety and security of hotel guests and employees.
- At least 2 years' experience in Front Desk, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing personality and a can-do approach.
- Strong communication skills, ability to adapt to constant change, and work effectively under pressure.
- Robust problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using Opera PMS and reading, writing, and oral proficiency in Italian and English.
