Job SummaryThe Manager Admin Services & Security is responsible for managing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the company-wide security and risk management program to ensure the security of the facility, employees, visitors, and assets at the plant.
The successful candidate will strengthen relationships with civic, law-enforcing agencies, internal, and external stakeholders. They will also build relations with the media circle and implement administration strategies to meet corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the current security situation and bring improvement in controls to ensure robust and highest-level security to employees, visitors, and assets at Rakh Canal & Cornwala Plants.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to preempt security concerns and take appropriate measures to effectively manage crisis situations.
- Identify risks and analyze data received from both external and internal sources and advise management on risk mitigation plans.
- Lead investigations of security breaches and advise appropriate actions in coordination with the Legal team. Ensure maintenance of all security-related equipment installed in assigned locations.
- Oversee and provide direction for major security-related projects and physical security technologies, including various key access systems, alarm systems, video surveillance systems (CCTV), and other security-related systems.
- Develop and implement a security training policy and ensure appropriate steps are taken to ensure security compliance. Provide frequent communications to the Management concerning security.
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending administrative policies and procedures to meet agreed business targets.
- Continuously seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of core admin processes and security measures.
- Execute CSR activities for the company that facilitate the achievement of business objectives and enhance the image of the company in the local community surrounding the plant.
- Maintain working relationships with various Govt. Departments, Civil Administration, and statutory bodies to ensure smooth functioning and necessary compliance with all applicable laws.
- Monitor security functions of the plant while safeguarding personnel and the plant.
- Oversee administration and facilities management (office administration, transport, reception, telephone exchange, gate office, weighbridge, dispatch, sanitation, gardening, dispensary, fair price shop, canteen, etc.) at the plant.
- Coordinate with the EHS department to ensure safety of employees and compliance to corporate EHS standards.
- Evaluate the current security situation on an ongoing basis and bring improvement in controls to ensure robust and highest-level security to employees, visitors, and assets at the plant.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to preempt security concerns and take appropriate measures to effectively manage crisis situations.
- Identify risks and analyze data received from both external and internal sources and advise management on risk mitigation plans.
- Provide leadership on various security and public relations committees acting in an advisory capacity.
- Develop and implement a security training policy and ensure appropriate steps are taken to ensure security compliance.
- Work with the Plant Management team to develop and implement identified action plans.
- Support the Leadership Team in embedding the Company's Vision, Mission, Corporate Policies on Business Conduct, Environment, Health & Safety, Functional SOPs, Suppliers Code of Conduct, Systems, and local policies and procedures at the site.
- Mandatory requirements:
- Master's Degree in Public Administration with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven Admin leadership experience at a manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ex-Army/forces personnel with post-retirement relevant manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
