Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Base-Building Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining electrical systems at our warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and global standards.
  • Partner with Risk Management and other stakeholders to implement changes to electrical system maintenance programs, aligning with insurance requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for electrical systems.
  • Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Support operations, construction, and other departments with product development and testing.
  • Audit electrical system maintenance practices globally to identify deviations and corrective actions.
  • Conduct equipment failure investigation and provide mitigation solutions.
  • Monitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports and escalate as necessary to drive improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a technical support role for electrical distribution systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of power system analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience solving problems at a continent or global scale.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with power system electrical testing.
