About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or master's student in Engineering to join our Operations Department as a Manufacturing Process Improvement Trainee. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate on a project related to the internal testing process of converting lines, introducing standard statistical tools for measuring data related to the internal testing of machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn the general principles of converting lines, the internal testing process, and the processes and logic of the production areas.
  • Analyze and map the current internal testing protocol, including current documentation and reporting.
  • Interface with colleagues from the Production and Operations areas, such as the testing team, the technical office, standardization, project management, and digital team.
  • Identify and analyze product quality data as well as machine and component performance to define important test analysis indicators.
  • Work with your tutor and team to define opportunities to improve the test protocol by improving current analysis tools with standard statistical tools for proper monitoring of internal testing.
  • Draft documentation and reporting for internal or customer use.
  • Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma techniques and work management tools (such as SAP, Minitab, etc.).
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Recent graduate or master's student in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Automation, Electronics, Management, or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanics and reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Solid knowledge and interest in statistics.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • English proficiency.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking.
