Exciting Internship Opportunity

This position offers a unique chance for recent graduates or master's students to enhance their expertise and develop professional skills within a forward-thinking environment.

Role Overview

You will be integrated into the Operations Department, collaborating on a project focused on the internal testing procedures of conversion lines. The objective is to implement standardized statistical methodologies for analyzing data related to machinery testing.

  • Gain insights into the fundamental principles of conversion lines and the internal testing workflow, along with an understanding of production area processes.
  • Conduct an analysis and mapping of the existing internal testing protocols, including current documentation and reporting structures.
  • Engage with various colleagues across Production and Operations, including the testing team, technical office, standardization, project management, and digital teams.
  • Evaluate and interpret product quality data alongside machine and component performance to establish key testing analysis indicators.
  • In collaboration with your mentor and team, identify and propose enhancements to the testing protocol by refining current analysis tools using standardized statistical methods for effective monitoring.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for internal or client use.
  • Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and work management tools (such as SAP, Minitab, etc.).
  • Experience a cutting-edge manufacturing environment, interact with diverse roles, and understand the operations of a multinational corporation.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or master's student in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Automation, Electronics, Management, or related fields.
  • Technical proficiency in mechanics, including the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong foundation and interest in statistics.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Critical thinking skills.
