About the Role

Job Summary

The Field Market Access Manager/Senior Manager Italy will be responsible for ensuring and optimizing access to BeiGene's product portfolio at the regional level, establishing strategic relationships and interacting with regional health administrations and payment organizations.

  • Present value tools to payers and budget holders at the regional level

The Field Market Access Manager/Senior Manager Italy's activity is designed to create a favorable environment for our products and services through effective and targeted communication with payers at the regional and local level, according to the local business needs.

Essential Functions of the Role
  • Define and implement market access strategies to ensure access to BeiGene's products at the regional and hospital level
  • Establish and maintain institutional relationships with regional health administrations (decision-makers, evaluators, influencers/advisors) and in their hospitals (management, medical directors, pharmacy)
  • Introduce BeiGene's products at the regional and hospital level
  • Lead negotiations conducted at the central services and hospital level, both for tenders and negotiated procedures and offers, with purchasing centers and regional framework agreements
  • Provide guidance for the development and personalization of pharmacoeconomic data, online benefit-cost models in line with the specific needs and requirements of subnational stakeholders
  • Establish relationships with key players such as regional health authorities, medical societies, scientific institutions, payers, and patient advocacy groups
  • Communicate relevant changes and trends in the local healthcare policy environment and patient access activities of new competitors to the cross-functional team
  • Ensure that all activities related to the role comply with applicable external and internal regulations (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and code of conduct)
Requirements
  • 5 or more years of experience in a role in the pharmaceutical industry with dialogue with regional health administrations and local organizations
  • Deep knowledge of the national and regional healthcare system
  • Knowledge and leadership of relationships with key players for the pharmaceutical industry at all levels within healthcare organizations
  • Ability to defend and value clinical aspects in therapeutic areas of responsibility
  • Demonstrated success in launching medicines in the regional and hospital market
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating price and reimbursement conditions for medicines with public administrations and healthcare authorities at the regional and hospital level
