Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Internal Audit function and drive compliance and risk management initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective risk management methodologies and procedures to ensure the organization's assets are protected.
- Lead the development of the Annual Audit Plan, utilizing risk-based methodologies to identify areas of focus.
- Oversee the execution of Audit and Compliance Plans, ensuring timely and effective results.
- Perform audits and investigations as a lead auditor, covering various areas including IT Audit, compliance with regulatory requirements, and management system standards.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate the development and updating of policies, procedures, and company operating instructions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the Supervisor Body and Data Protection Officer in maintaining the 231/01 and GDPR system model.
- Act as an internal consultant for governance, risk management, and control activities, providing guidance and support to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure their professional development and growth.
- Master's degree in Economics, Computer Science/Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in internal audit, compliance, and IT audit, preferably in a consulting firm or a company in the financial sector.
- Excellent knowledge of international standards for internal auditing and compliance.
- Good knowledge of IT and cybersecurity auditing and controls frameworks, management systems standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, Lead Auditor ISO 27001, and ISO 9001 are highly desirable.
- Strong process and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and strong oral and written communication skills in English and Italian.
- Willingness to travel and hold a valid EU Work Permit.
