As a key member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, the Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and revenue expansion in assigned territories. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with direct and indirect customers to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Go-To-Market Planning: Collaborate with local Channel Managers to develop and execute effective Go-To-Market strategies for the region.
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date on competitor strengths and vulnerabilities, and develop sales strategies to effectively respond.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Utilize a 'must-win' mentality to drive sales performance and close deals.

Required qualifications include:

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, with advanced degrees preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success, and 2+ years of experience as an indirect people and/or distribution manager.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of the chemical and/or environmental industry, and experience selling in those markets.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 50%+ across assigned territories.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and organizational and time management skills.
