About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Team Member to join our team at Tn Italy. As a Deli Team Member, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our deli products meet the highest standards of quality and freshness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Assistance: Assist guests in locating items on or off the sales floor and respond to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.
  • Customer Service: Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, and maintain proper temperatures and inventory levels to ensure high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that all deli products are properly stored and displayed.
  • Food Safety: Lead by example in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to all safety standards.
  • Efficiency: Ensure that all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by the end of each shift.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's efforts.
Requirements
  • Customer Focus: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
  • Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess and resolve issues in a dynamic and stressful work environment.
  • Safety Awareness: Comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies.
  • Food Knowledge: Knowledge of the retail food business, perishable department operations, and merchandising skills.
