Event Planning Opportunity at Belmond

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Events Intern to join our team at Villa Sant'Andrea, a Belmond Hotel. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in organizing upscale events and contributing to a world-class guest experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of high-profile events hosted by the hotel.
  • Collaborate with the events team to coordinate logistics and ensure seamless event operations.
  • Interact with clients, vendors, and guests to provide exceptional service and address inquiries.
  • Contribute to the creation of event proposals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Support in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they meet the hotel's standards.
  • Aid in the coordination of catering services, audio-visual requirements, and other event-related aspects.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail to uphold the hotel's luxury standards in all event elements.
  • Participate in post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and share feedback.
Requirements:
  • Basic proficiency in Italian (mandatory) and fluent in English, with knowledge of French being advantageous.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
  • Familiarity with luxury hotel standards and a keen interest in the events industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is a plus.
