We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented TRICARE Beneficiary Services Representative to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our beneficiaries, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Verify benefits eligibility and process enrollments, disenrollments, and transfers using the Defense Online Enrollment System and other relevant systems.
- Register beneficiaries in the MHS Genesis system and perform Primary Care Manager changes in accordance with Military Treatment Facility guidelines.
- Provide education on resources and benefits, enrollment/disenrollment information, and customer service to beneficiaries via phone and in-person interactions.
- Collect, process, retrieve, and disseminate transfer information for active-duty and active-duty family member portability/disenrollment processes.
- Conduct briefings for In Processing, Out Processing, Maternity, pre-separation/retirement, and other relevant events.
- Provide basic claims assistance, including providing information on claim status.
- Collect and record Health Information into applicable systems.
- Assess the appropriate assistance level needed and refer or escalate as necessary to address the issue at hand.
- Collect and report information on daily activities performed.
- Complete tasks on a timely basis and comply with HIPAA regulations, Leidos, and other training and refresher courses.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of Protected Health Information.
- Adhere to a business casual dress code.
- Provide shadowing support to new BSRs as needed.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field OR an associate's degree in a related field PLUS 4 years of specialized experience OR a major certification in a related field PLUS 4 years of specialized experience OR a high school diploma or GED PLUS 8 years of specialized experience.
- Must be SOFA/Command Sponsored as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member, DoD employee, or US Contractor supporting the DoD.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have a Soggiornio and Missione Visa.
- Be eligible for and maintain ADP IT III / Non-Sensitive Position, Tier 1.
- Be fluent in English.
- Proficient in written and oral communications.
- Possess effective presentation skills.
- Computer literate with Internet research experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 2010 or later applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to reply tactfully with people on the phone and in person.
- Ability to work independently and under general supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System and MHS Genesis.
