Job Title: Sr Business Development Rep

At PayPal, we're revolutionizing commerce globally, and we need a talented Sr Business Development Rep to join our team

About the Role:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr Business Development Rep to drive our market share by building a strong pipeline of opportunities for our enterprise sales executives. As a Sr Business Development Rep, you'll be responsible for seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify merchants not yet using PayPal and build a pipeline of prospective leads to contact.
  • Contact prospective merchants across phone, email, in-person events, and social platforms to generate and uncover new opportunities.
  • Perform initial needs assessment of prospect while identifying existing pain points to determine how PayPal's platform could address those needs.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) merchants and our enterprise sales executives.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records for all activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Research and stay up to date on current market trends, opportunities, and competition.
  • Conduct research to expand contact lists within targeted accounts using tools like Zoominfo, Sales Navigator, and other methods.
What We're Looking For:
  • Good knowledge of the Italian market and ecommerce trends.
  • Native level of Italian and excellent level of English is required.
  • Desire to learn enterprise sales methodologies and strategies.
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Executive, or similar role. SaaS sales experience is a plus.
  • Dynamic hunter personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving both individual and team goals in a professional setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively, both on a team and individually, in a high energy, ever-changing, dynamic sales environment.
  • Proficiency in and is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
