About The Hoxton

The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love. We're passionate about creating great hospitality experiences and building a portfolio of brands.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Provide a genuinely welcoming and memorable experience for our guests, from a Hox welcome to handling any questions and helping out with requests.
  • Deal with the coming and going of guests, making sure all bills are correct and contain no surprises.
  • Work with all our teams to make sure we're always busy and help our restaurant team with any individual and group bookings.
  • Answer phones, sort out requests, give recommendations - you're the one-stop-shop for our guests to turn to.
  • Take reservations over the phone, handle cash and card payments and help out the team on the floor.
  • Master the use of the online reservation system and be sure to add all necessary information to reservations.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests' expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Requirements
  • Individuals who are looking for a place where they can be themselves and thrive in a positive environment.

  • Able to work well in a team and support colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Previous experience in a busy front of house role and a genuine care for making people feel welcome and looked after.

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
