Our client, a multinational leader in the electrical systems sector, is seeking an Electrical Proposal Specialist to join their team in Milan Nord area.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting customer requests for quotations and project specifications, preparing technical proposals and cost calculations for solutions, and supporting sales teams during alignment and negotiation processes. They will also participate in transversal activities, such as R&D, Electrical Engineering, and Sales teams, and contribute to developing technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and analyze customer RFQs from the sales department
- Identify customer needs for specific projects and develop technical solutions that meet those needs
- Estimate costs of materials, equipment, and other supplies constituting the technical solution
- Keep contacts with suppliers in coordination with the supply chain team
- Prepare detailed documentation to support bids for projects
- Work closely with sales and technical teams to provide complete and competitive technical solutions
- Participate in customer meetings for solution presentations and technical clarifications
Travel Requirements: Occasional travels may be required.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Technical background in Drives and Motors
- Knowledge in Switchgears and Distribution Systems
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HW or SW design
- Fluent written and spoken English (B2-C1)
Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive salary package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a collaborative work environment.
