Sales and Marketing Manager for Digital Grid
This is a unique opportunity to join Siemens Energy as a Sales and Marketing Manager for Digital Grid, where you will be responsible for driving the sales and marketing strategy for our Digital Grid portfolio within the Grid Technology sales area.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for regional opportunity pipeline generation, budget plans, and revenue growth.
- Act as a single point of contact between Grid Technology sales and Digital Grid, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Identify strategic areas for business growth, including potential partners, and develop a plan to leverage these opportunities.
- Drive marketing activities, such as fairs, conferences, and promotions, to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Collect and interpret customer feedback and win/loss analysis to inform business decisions and improve sales strategies.
- Leverage SalesForce and other reporting tools to track sales funnel development and ensure transparency.
- Prioritize pipeline management and vertical/market approach to maximize revenue growth.
- Prepare and participate in monthly business reviews with regional management and Digital Grid organization.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in power transmission and distribution, ideally with experience in Protection and Control domain.
- Preferably a graduate of Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in promoting and selling HV/MV solutions and related digital offerings.
- Good knowledge of high and medium voltage applications, power transmission and distribution systems, power electronics, renewable generation, power system planning and development, and power systems modeling.
- Knowledge of Grid Automation industry, including market space, competitors, and market trends.
- Understanding of customer needs in relation to analysis of electrical power systems, network planning, and grid development at all stages of their project lifecycle.
- Extensive customer network in Utilities, Industries, and Renewable Energy fields.
- Customer relationship management and partnership management experience.
- Sales and negotiation skills, with ability to prioritize issues, be creative, and adjust tempo according to circumstances.
- Team working and result-oriented.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent oral and written English and Italian.
