About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Engineering to lead our cross-functional teams and drive technical excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for empowering, challenging, and guiding our engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead 3-5 cross-functional teams and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Teams to build and execute roadmaps, ensuring technical constraints are addressed and prioritization is optimized.
  • Liaise with architects and senior engineers to remove blockers and optimize our capacity for delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders and managers to fill communication gaps and reduce friction, providing reports and insights supported by Agile/Lean metrics.
  • Support career progression, providing mentoring, coaching, and training, and identifying next-generation leaders.
Requirements
  • Solid software engineering background, knowledge of modern frameworks, architectural principles, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience leading SaaS technology organizations in fast-paced environments, serving hundreds of customers, and driving growth.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of successful projects throughout their lifecycle, including crisis management, out-of-the-box thinking, and results-driven decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as XP/Scrum, and Lean practices, such as Kanban/Kaizen.
  • Experience working in environments that promote a DevOps mindset, Continuous Integration, and Delivery.
  • Able to explain technical approaches to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in re-architecting processes or building new architectures from scratch.
