Job Purpose:

As a Business Development Manager at TD SYNNEX Europe Services and Operations S.L.U., you will be responsible for driving business growth by translating vendor/technology growth plans into actionable strategies. You will work closely with marketing to align on MDF and with the wider sales organization to identify specialized opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial direction.
  • Negotiate key tenders and large deals with complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Optimize results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio, including new vendor identification, onboarding, and other business development initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a solid customer engagement strategy, including multiple parties and levels, to drive successful business outcomes.
  • Apply TD SYNNEX resources to assist customers in meeting their strategic objectives.
  • Take solution and service offerings to market, including TaaS.
  • Own quarterly vendor business planning and execution.
  • Drive overall vendor management and create customer unique selling propositions that protect margin integrity and promote long-term value-based customer engagement.
  • Enable and help sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share.
  • Build relationships and engage with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the "Trusted Advisor".
  • Ensure ongoing use of CRM tools for best-in-class business continuity.
  • Maintain full knowledge of assigned vendor's product/service line.
  • Develop tailored customer value propositions against clear understanding of customer business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Good emotional intelligence.

  • Skilled multi-level relationship builder.
  • High energy and motivation.
  • 4+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background.
  • Complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling.
  • Strategic planning and business case development.
  • Experience of working within a matrix structure.
  • Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment.
  • Business planning experience with strong operational cadence.
