Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at Ikea. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of properties throughout their lifetime, including safety, compliance, maintenance, and improvement.
  • Advise on the purchase and implementation of property management innovations and digital solutions.
  • Develop and maintain subject area expertise and drive operational best-practice within the business.
  • Participate in global subject matter update meetings and organize them in the cluster.
  • Drive the implementation of approved best-practices and projects aimed at lowering operational cost and improving asset reliability.

Requirements

  • Academic degree or professional qualification in Facilities Management or equivalent.
  • Experience in a multi-unit facilities management organization.
  • Technical understanding of building and connected equipment, including asset management.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation in a business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trustful relationships.
  • Good knowledge of English and Italian, with Arabic and Egyptian languages considered a plus.
