About the Role:

TD SYNNEX is seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our IoT, Data & AI business unit. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing sales processes, vendors pricing, and closing orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external contacts.
  • Engage in active inside selling by utilizing various sources to gain customer information and maximize call potential and outcomes.
  • Manage customer backorders and possess specialist knowledge in project management and "intelligent project fishing".
  • Provide, sell, and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions.
  • Drive sales of specific products/vendors if specific knowledge is required.
  • Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX's CRM system, regularly reviewed and updated, and ensure active closure of opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Numerate with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
  • Priority management and planning skills.
  • Strive to achieve set targets.
  • Understands sales process.
  • Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, and CRM.
  • A knowledge of Data & AI product set and IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
