About the Role:
TD SYNNEX is seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our IoT, Data & AI business unit. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing sales processes, vendors pricing, and closing orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external contacts.
- Engage in active inside selling by utilizing various sources to gain customer information and maximize call potential and outcomes.
- Manage customer backorders and possess specialist knowledge in project management and "intelligent project fishing".
- Provide, sell, and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions.
- Drive sales of specific products/vendors if specific knowledge is required.
- Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX's CRM system, regularly reviewed and updated, and ensure active closure of opportunities.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Numerate with good attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills.
- Priority management and planning skills.
- Strive to achieve set targets.
- Understands sales process.
- Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, and CRM.
- A knowledge of Data & AI product set and IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
