Moncler is seeking a seasoned Wholesale Area Manager to lead the sales and business development efforts for our Kidswear collections in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Greece. This role is based in Milan and requires a strong understanding of the luxury market and a proven track record in sales and account management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor market trends and sales performance to provide insights and recommendations to the company.
- Contribute to the development of the company's sales budget plan and sales forecasts, aligning with the company's strategy and market conditions.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with wholesale accounts, ensuring alignment with the company's positioning and market characteristics.
- Manage sales campaigns and drive clients and seasonal sellers to achieve sales targets in the Milan showroom.
- Ensure all clients adhere to merchandising guidelines, ensuring both quantitative and qualitative elements of the budgets are met.
- Manage orders, resolve customer issues, and coordinate deliveries, payments, and reorders.
- Collaborate with key partners on marketing activities and schedule regular visits to accounts for product knowledge training and qualitative reporting.
- Analyze sellout data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in wholesale sales and business development in the luxury industry.
- Strong product knowledge and a deep understanding of the luxury market.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and negotiate with key accounts.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Fluent communication skills in English, with knowledge of Russian a plus.
