Job Description

In Eni, we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Planning & Control to support the control of Energy Management activities, focusing on monthly accounts analysis, budget, plan, and forecast. The successful candidate will ensure data flows and analyses are provided to relevant functions within the Planning & Control department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the control of ENMA Italy activities, focusing on monthly accounts analysis, budget, plan, and forecast, ensuring data flows and analyses are provided to relevant functions within the Planning & Control department.
  • Participate in projects within the Chief Financial & Risk Officer function and/or inter-functional projects, providing expertise as needed.
  • Develop autonomous and independent reports and visualizations to control Energy Management performance and identify deviations from plan/budget/forecast, extracting useful information for decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a STEM field; relevant titles and fields of study may be considered in lieu of a Master's degree, provided there is significant experience in the role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis.
  • Good knowledge of modeling techniques and in-depth knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) for report development.
  • Knowledge of commodity energy markets, particularly in portfolio management, is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of a programming language (Python, Scala, R) is a plus.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Availability for national and international mobility.
