Senior Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our Italian Grocery team at Deliveroo. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for pitching and closing grocery partnerships with key players in the territory, managing your pipeline, and ensuring a smooth integration process for new partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pitch and close grocery partnerships with key players in the territory.
- Manage your pipeline to ensure strong conversion rates and exceed ambitious volume & quality targets.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle with potential grocery partners through strategic negotiations and making attractive offers.
- Ensure a smooth integration process for new partners, from registration to operational launch.
- Support the wider commercial team with ad-hoc strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in related fields such as groceries/retail or FMCG.
- Self-driven with a proven sales record and an appetite for scaling your portfolio.
- Phone-based sales experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, face-to-face, phone, or email.
- Perseverance and grit - you're not afraid of rejection.
