About the Role

The Receptionist is a key position for the success of our residences at Hines. As a member of our team, you will be part of the exciting opening of a brand new aparto Student Housing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless guest experience during your shift.

You will operate mainly in the reception area, where you will be the first point of contact for students and potential guests. Your role will go beyond traditional reception duties, as you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Responsibilities

  • General reception and administration duties
  • Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met on site
  • Answer incoming calls and follow up on potential sales
  • Conduct viewings of the show flat
  • Assist in writing reports and analyzing data
  • Liaise with head office to confirm viewings and bookings
  • Forward application forms to interested students
  • Provide potential students with information on the local area
  • Update site social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Organize and manage events on site during the academic year

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality or student housing experience in Italy
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Able to work in shifts
  • Knowledgeable of issues affecting students
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Customer-focused and computer literate
  • Knowledgeable of issues affecting students and able to communicate with young guests
  • Good sales skills
  • Sensitive to and understanding of students' needs
  • Able to organize and meet deadlines and targets
  • Good knowledge of social media
  • Outgoing with a good sense of humor and the ability to apply common sense
