Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a pivotal member of our team in the first Milan accommodation, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our residences. You will be integral to the exciting launch of a brand new aparto Student Housing facility. Your responsibilities encompass every aspect of the guest experience during your shift.

Operating primarily in the reception area, you will greet students and potential guests with a warm smile, addressing their needs and inquiries. This role transcends traditional reception duties; you and your colleagues will serve as the skilled hosts of aparto, responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • General reception and administrative tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations on site
  • Handling incoming calls and following up on potential sales leads
  • Conducting viewings of the show flat
  • Assisting in report writing and data analysis
  • Coordinating with head office to confirm viewings and bookings
  • Distributing application forms to interested students
  • Providing prospective students with valuable information about the local area
  • Regularly updating the site’s social media platforms
  • Organizing and managing events on site throughout the academic year

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in hospitality or student housing in Italy
  • Trustworthy and dependable
  • Ability to work shifts
  • Understanding of issues affecting students
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and proficient in computer use
  • Knowledgeable about student-related issues and able to engage with young guests
  • Strong sales abilities
  • Sensitive to and understanding of students' needs
  • Proficient in organizing and meeting deadlines and targets
  • Good understanding of social media platforms
  • Outgoing personality with a good sense of humor and practical judgment
