About the Role

The Receptionist is a key role for the success of our residences at Hines. As a Student Housing Host, you will be part of the exciting opening of a brand new aparto Student Housing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless guest experience during your shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students and potential guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the reception area.
  • Manage general reception and administration duties, including handling inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met on site, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests.
  • Assist in viewings of the show flat, providing detailed information about the property and its amenities.
  • Support the team in writing reports and analyzing data to improve guest experience and operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with head office to confirm viewings and bookings, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Forward application forms to interested students, facilitating the admissions process.
  • Provide potential students with valuable information about the local area, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Update the site's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) with engaging content, promoting aparto's brand and services.
  • Organize and manage events on site during the academic year, creating memorable experiences for guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or student housing, preferably in Italy.
  • Proven track record of being trustworthy and reliable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work in shifts, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledgeable about issues affecting students, with a sensitive and understanding approach.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team, with a self-motivated and customer-focused attitude.
  • Good sales skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with young guests.
  • Able to organize and meet deadlines, with a strong sense of initiative and common sense.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms, with a good understanding of their potential in promoting aparto's services.
  • Outgoing and friendly, with a good sense of humor and the ability to apply common sense in challenging situations.
