Business Development Manager for Polyamide Sales

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager for Polyamide Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales growth for our polyamide products in the EMEA region. You will lead and coordinate tactical plans to achieve sales and profitability goals, while directly managing a customer base of large accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow sales with OEMs and molders, aligned with sales teams, key account managers, suppliers, and application development teams.
  • Identify and develop new value propositions in key strategic market segments, as well as support and assess new areas of potential growth in EMEA.
  • Promote and position polyamide materials at customers and prospects, including training and project acquisition.
  • Maintain existing and establish new customer relationships with a focus on key accounts and OEMs.
  • Translate technology and growth opportunities to new geographies and customers.
  • Drive specific applications for push products from our existing and new product portfolios.
  • Gather market competitive intelligence, including new technologies, market trends, and IP opportunities.
  • Provide strategic input for future product developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, with an MBA being a plus.
  • Engineering thermoplastics market knowledge required, with knowledge in the automotive or E&E market being a plus.
  • Proven qualifications in self-motivation, enthusiasm, pro-activity, and time management.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, with demonstrated business acumen.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across functional groups and varying levels of the organization.
  • Ability to organize and set priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to clearly define and implement strategy.
  • Ability to negotiate and build effective relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of target markets and ability to develop relationships with decision-makers.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience with is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
