The Component Delivery Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the Senior Component Delivery Manager throughout the project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, and execution, ensuring that objectives related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety are met or surpassed, in accordance with the Company's Project & Quality Procedures. This role involves collaborating with the project team and guiding them to achieve monthly targets established by the Senior Component Delivery Manager and the Business Unit.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the Project Team with a focus on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Timely Delivery.

The Component Delivery Manager is tasked with aiding the Senior Component Delivery Manager in leading a cross-functional project team to successfully fulfill project requirements. This includes executing strategies defined by the Senior Component Delivery Manager for profitable project delivery, monitoring team performance, and suggesting improvements as necessary.

Managing project costs, risks, and opportunities.

This role involves supporting the Senior Component Delivery Manager with estimations prior to order acquisition and ensuring project costs remain within the designated budget. You will also be responsible for tracking daily and monthly project progress to meet objectives set by the Senior Component Delivery Manager, while monitoring contingencies based on assessed risks and opportunities.

Overseeing project scheduling.

The Component Delivery Manager is responsible for the daily and monthly development and oversight of the project schedule to ensure alignment with projected progress and objectives. This includes gathering input from various departments to create a reliable project schedule, managing critical paths, float, and resource allocations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering – an MBA is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
