Sales Support Specialist for Quality Systems in Southern Italy

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will deliver expert and technical assistance to clients, concentrating on Quality System solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with Account Managers and the sales team to drive sales growth. This includes pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, presentations, pre-installation discussions, and workflow assessments for the assigned product line. Furthermore, you will provide on-site application support, IT connectivity assistance, and customer training to ensure effective use of Bio-Rad's Quality controls and systems solutions, ultimately leading to improved quality outcomes. Ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty to the Bio-Rad brand is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Account and Key Account Managers in evaluating customers' technical or organizational challenges and requirements for relevant project development.
- Offer technical guidance, respond to customer inquiries regarding Quality System solutions either on-site or remotely, and conduct product demonstrations.
- Organize and execute hardware and software setups, along with on-site training for customers.
- Articulate technical solutions and advantages, assisting customers during the installation and implementation phases for Quality System solutions, including reagents, software, LIS connections, and hardware.
- Assist the Sales Team and Distributors in meeting regional and territory sales objectives.
- Provide field application support as required by the Customer Technical Support team or clients.
- Document all activities and insights in the CRM system.
- Collect feedback from the field and information on the product line (e.g., application, hardware, software features) requested by customers or provided by competitors, reporting this data accordingly.
Qualifications
- A scientific background complemented by business insight.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare sector (IVD company, healthcare industry, hospital laboratories, CoreLab, medical device market).
- Experience in a diagnostic laboratory environment (instruments, software, workflow).
- Basic knowledge or aptitude for IT solutions in a Clinical Medicine Laboratory (middleware, LIS, IVD software), connectivity, and statistics.
- Ability to identify customer needs and develop appropriate technical solutions based on Bio-Rad's product offerings.
- Strong skills in demonstration and presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
