About the Job

You will join our Instrumentation and Automation (I&A) Engineering division team in Rome, Italy, as a Junior Instrumentation and Automation Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with our I&A Section Head to design and implement instrumentation, control, and monitoring systems for medium, large, and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project technical specifications in line with client requirements;
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including instrument lists, datasheets, cable routings, I/O lists, logic diagrams, and bulk material take-offs;
  • Participate in instrumentation and automation requisitioning activities;
  • Meet project quality and HSE objectives;
  • Ensure timely reporting on engineering and requisitioning activities to the Instrumentation Engineering/Requisitioning Leader;
  • Collaborate with other discipline engineers;
  • Review vendor drawings.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in electronic, telecom, chemical, or mechanical engineering. Your profile should include:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic, Telecom, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering;
  • Language skills: Fluent English;
  • Main skills:
    • Previous experience of at least 0-2 years in a similar role;
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment;
    • High interest in the current energy transition challenges and digital transformation process;
    • Availability for international mobility, either short or long term;
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, Query, and database management is a plus;
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment.
