Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing instrumentation and automation systems for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Project Technical Specifications: Prepare project technical specifications in line with client requirements.
  • Quality and HSE Objectives: Meet project quality and HSE objectives.
  • Reporting and Communication: Ensure timely and accurate reporting on engineering and requisitioning activities to the Instrumentation Engineering/Requisitioning Leader.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activity of a small group of drafters, junior/intermediate designers, and/or junior/intermediate engineers.
  • Design Review: Review 3D design for instrumentation, including cable tray routings, instrument positioning, and other related tasks.
  • Calculations and Design Documents: Prepare, update, and/or check calculations for instrumentation detailed engineering and prepare/design instrumentation design documents, such as instrument lists, instrument datasheets, cable routings, layouts, cross-sections, cable lists, hook-up drawings, and mounting details.
  • Vendor Management: Review vendor bids, prepare technical bids evaluation, ensure contractual technical specifications are met by suppliers, and ensure proper communication with vendors and technical follow-up of orders.
  • Review and Monitoring: Review vendor drawings and monitor quantities coming from instrument bulk MTOs.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 5-6 years of experience in detailed engineering and design of instrumentation systems for refinery, gas, power, renewables, and infrastructure projects in a similar position.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
