Technical Support Analyst in Video Surveillance

Join our dedicated team in the European Technical Support & Management Service division, where we are seeking a Technical Support & Managed Services Specialist. This role is essential for individuals who are passionate about technology and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Upon completion of a comprehensive training program, the selected candidate will become an integral part of our Technical Support team, responsible for addressing post-sales technical inquiries.

The role also involves participation in the expansion of our management services operations across Europe and the Middle East. Our Managed Services team is committed to overseeing a vast network of cameras, encoders, and network video recorders (NVRs) for numerous clients globally, ensuring the reliability of critical video surveillance systems.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with video surveillance technologies and software (including VMS, cameras, encoders, video recorders, switches, routers, and hubs)
  • Understanding of networking protocols and tools (such as UDP/IP, TCP/IP, HTTP, RTSP/RTP, Wireshark, Fiddler)
  • Proficient in network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Fiddler)
  • Solid experience with MS Windows Operating Systems and Linux Ubuntu
  • Experience with database administration tasks (including DB index defragmentation, backup and restore, statistical analysis, and custom SQL script preparation and execution), particularly with MS-SQL-Server
  • Familiarity with database management systems
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with March Networks products
  • Experience with LDAP authentication mechanisms is advantageous
  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Proficient in Shell/Python scripting (Windows, Linux)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification
  • Knowledge of Salesforce for RMA request management
  • Experience with Jira for R&D escalations
  • Proficient in French (both written and spoken)
