About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Starhotels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of hotel customers, identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Utilize your knowledge of the local area to proactively identify, handle, and develop local sales relationships, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
  • Assist in leading all day-to-day sales activities, focusing on building long-term and value-based customer relationships to meet business objectives.
  • Support the Event Departments by identifying and securing potential sales opportunities, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
  • Ensure proper after-sales follow-up with customers to obtain feedback on service and product delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support our properties in all sales activities and projects, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
  • Coordinate with the Head Office sales team and other hotels' sales teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • A unique personality and a true passion for hospitality, with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
  • An exceptional ability to inspire people with our concept, driving engagement and motivation within the team.
  • Proven work experience in sales and business development, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned area, with a deep understanding of the local market and customer needs.
  • A proactive mind-set and positive thinking, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Versatility in handling various work scenarios, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Language Requirements
  • Italian - fluently
  • English - fluently
  • Additional languages are a plus.
