About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Starhotels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Tuscany region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and develop a portfolio of hotel customers, identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Tuscany region, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Utilize your knowledge of the local market to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, including developing relationships with local businesses and organizations.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel customers, ensuring excellent customer service and driving repeat business.
  • Event Support: Collaborate with the Event Department to identify and secure sales opportunities, including developing relationships with event planners and coordinators.
  • After-Sales Support: Provide excellent after-sales support to customers, including addressing any issues or concerns and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Tuscany region, including its culture, history, and business landscape.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Language: Fluency in Italian and English, with additional languages a plus.
