About the Role:
In TD SYNNEX Italy, we are seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for the VMware by Broadcom portfolio. This role involves translating VMware by Broadcom's growth strategies internally to effectively drive them within specific strategic segments.
The BDM at TD SYNNEX is focused on expanding profitable market share by implementing the Business Unit strategy. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Data Center and Infrastructure Software and have experience in negotiating substantial deals, with a comprehensive understanding of all job functions and industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize outcomes by driving sales from the designated vendor portfolio, including identifying new vendors, onboarding, and other business development initiatives.
- Demonstrate a robust customer engagement strategy and create unique selling propositions for customers.
- Launch solutions and service offerings into the market, including TaaS.
- Take ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution.
- Empower and assist the sales teams to enhance market share and wallet share.
- Develop customized customer value propositions.
What We Are Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in the IT sector, particularly in channel and/or vendor roles at a business development level.
- Strong knowledge of data center and Software Enterprise.
- Excellent emotional intelligence, influence, and persuasion skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adept at building relationships at multiple levels.
- High energy and motivation.
- Strong focus on and experience in services and solution selling.
- Experience in strategic planning and business case development.
