Are you prepared to take on a rewarding career challenge? We are currently looking for a Service Business Controller for Eastern Europe to join the Business Controlling Finance team at KONE, focusing on the Eastern Europe and Mediterranean regions. This role encompasses 16 countries, including Poland, Czechia, the Balkans, Greece, Cyprus, and Israel. This position presents a distinctive opportunity to make a significant impact as a trusted business ally, contributing to the dynamic Service division at KONE.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage in business collaboration with a strong external perspective, grasping the business logic and interdependencies among key operational processes, relationships, and metrics.
  • Serve as a financial business partner to the Service business line, delivering actionable insights and steering commercial decisions towards sustainable growth.
  • Advance beyond standard actuals comprehension to focus on forward-looking business development, influencing stakeholders in decision-making regarding pricing and productivity.
  • Collaborate with local finance teams, facilitating essential controlling activities such as budgeting, timely and accurate month-end closing, actual results reporting (including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, etc.), and forecast preparation with variance analysis.
  • Drive continuous process enhancement and simplification, alongside task automation across the 16 countries.
  • Support strategic and long-term planning initiatives for the business line.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to the finance and business community on reporting and accounting issues.

Expectations:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • A self-driven and results-oriented individual with project management capabilities.
  • The ability to influence and enhance processes, with effective communication skills being essential.
  • Strong business acumen, demonstrating the capacity to integrate key commercial and financial drivers with an understanding of core business opportunities and constraints.
