Overview of the Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Project Risk Manager to undertake the following duties:
Lead and oversee the professional Risk Review process throughout both the bidding and execution phases by actively participating in Business and Group risk review meetings, ensuring that Group Risk Management protocols are effectively communicated to all pertinent stakeholders and properly implemented during both phases. Collaborate with the Sales team and other departments within the Transmission Business Unit as necessary throughout the entire project lifecycle. Prepare Risk deliverables pertinent to each tender, including project-specific Risk Management Plans, Client's Risk Registers, Third Party Assessments, etc. Assist the Transmission Business Unit in conducting Risk and Opportunity Assessments, providing strategic advice during negotiations with clients to ensure the execution of suitable risk mitigation strategies. Evaluate and offer insights on the terms and conditions of EPC contracts.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Project Risk Analyses across multiple projects in both commercial and execution phases, aiding the Tendering and Execution Teams in identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting project risks. Develop quantitative risk analyses utilizing Monte Carlo simulation techniques. Establish and implement Key Risk Indicators, ensuring a thorough consolidation of risk evaluations within Projects and the Company’s financial data. Apply Project Management Institute methodologies and risk management practices, including the analysis of Conformity Reports and adherence to corporate Policies and Procedures regarding Risk Management.Additionally, support the drafting of Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Subcontracts, ensuring that relevant (sub) contracts include appropriate terms to safeguard Prysmian's interests, including the flow-down of primary contract terms. Analyze prime contract terms to identify potential opportunities and risks, such as ambiguities, omissions, and conflicts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Degree in Law or Management Engineering Proficient in risk analysis, evaluation, and management techniques (ISO 31000 and PMBOK 7) Familiarity with quantitative analysis methods (Monte Carlo Analysis) Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the EPC sector Understanding of International standards FDIC (Yellow and Silver Book) Knowledge of International Maritime Law Awareness of construction insurance principlesYour application data will be handled in accordance with our Data Protection Policy.
