**Job Summary**
Applied Materials is seeking a highly skilled and organized General Service Assistant to support our Facility and Real Estate team in Agrate Brianza (Monza). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the facility's maintenance program, including scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance with vendors and internal teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce facility expenses.
- Provide administrative support to the Facility and Real Estate team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including catering, logistics, and vendor management.
- Manage the company's car rental program, including vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in facilities management, administrative support, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
