About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Renishaw. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and sales expertise to our customers and partners.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and partners on the use and application of Renishaw's encoder products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
- Conduct product training and demonstrations to customers and partners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
- Participate in trade shows and exhibitions to promote Renishaw's products and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Requirements
- Scientific or engineering degree from a recognized university or technical high school.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in direct sales or technical support.
- Fluent Italian and English language skills (spoken and written).
- Frequent travel in Italy and occasional travel abroad.
- Customer-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills.
- IT literacy and category B driving license.
